One other change in our absence was these thoughtful additions to the boreen, courtesy of Kerry County Council.



Though Irish Water refused to venture up it to plumb us to the mains, we now have official permission to put the hammer down for the last quarter of a mile up to the house. The best we have managed so far is 23 km/h, but any house guests are welcome to beat it. You might want to listen up for Francie's quad bike before you try.
